Now Hiring - Welding Inspector

Ranew's Companies is seeking an experienced Welding Inspector to join our team in Milner, GA. This position oversees the quality systems related to welding processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer specifications. The Welding Inspector is ideal for a professional who prides themselves on workmanship and understands industry standards. This role collaborates closely with engineering and production departments to drive continuous improvement initiatives and maintain the highest quality standards.

Location: Milner, GA
Salary: $22 - $28 /hour (starting pay is based on experience)
Job Type: Full-time (1st Shift)

Welding Inspector Responsibilities & Qualifications
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols for welding operations, ensuring adherence to regulatory and safety standards.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections of welding processes and procedures to identify areas for improvement.
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective action processes for quality-related issues, ensuring thorough documentation and follow-up.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to evaluate and improve welding techniques, materials, and equipment.
  • Train and mentor staff on quality standards and best practices in welding.
  • Prepare and present quality reports to management, highlighting performance metrics and areas of concern.
  • 3+ years of experience in quality management within a welding environment.
  • Knowledge of welding codes and standards such as AWS, ASME, and ISO.
  • Proven track record of implementing quality improvement initiatives.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Certification as a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) or similar.
