Manufacturing Machine Operator – Filtration Advanced Materials Business (Night Shift)

Shift & Compensation
: 7:45 pm to 8:00 am (night shift); initial training during day hours. Hourly pay: $20.70. Mandatory overtime may be required.

• Read and interpret the schedule, Bill of Materials (BOM), and Set‑On Criteria (SOC).
• Set up equipment: select proper tooling, install tooling, ensure correct resin.
• Start up equipment: position controls to SOC, activate extruder and miscellaneous drives, test initial product, make necessary adjustments, and verify product is in specification.
• Package product according to packaging instructions.
• Troubleshoot the process, perform QC tests as per SOC, and validate that the process is in control.
• Store finished product according to instructions.
• Record data accurately in the Data Collection System.
• Identify tooling damage and wear, clean used tooling, and return to stock.
• Report accidents and complete housekeeping duties.
• Comply with all OSHA/Company safety requirements and be knowledgeable of the locations of MSDS, first aid supplies, fire extinguishers, and exits.

• Preferred: forklift qualified.
• Understanding of the Data Collection System.
• Mechanical background.
• Proficiency with both metric and English measurement systems and ability to convert between them.
• Experience using calipers, micrometers, and rulers.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.

• Work in a manufacturing environment with air temperatures ranging from cold to hot; exposure to dust, fumes, and odors.
• Must wear personal protective equipment (PPE): safety shoes (steel toe or composite toe), safety glasses, protective gloves (when applicable), hearing protection (when required), and other required PPE.
• Perform physical tasks: lift a minimum of 75 pounds, work 12‑hour shifts, perform repetitive tasks, stand, sit, walk, talk, reach, climb, bend, kneel, crouch, twist, and balance in tight or awkward spaces.
• Have good close vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.
• Meet Mativ certification requirements to operate PIV’s (if applicable).
