Manufacturing Associate - 2nd Shift

Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Manufacturing Associate for an Onsite position with a Major Pharmaceutical Company located in Athens, GA. This is a 6+ month contract opportunity.

This position is responsible for duties associated with labeling, inspecting, and packaging vaccines on the 2nd shift (2:30 PM to 11:00 PM). The ideal candidate will operate packaging equipment to meet target line rates and collaborate with other functional groups to ensure production goals are achieved in a cGMP environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform the duties associated with labeling, inspecting, and packaging of vaccines
• Operate packaging equipment (e.g., labelers, pick and place, heat tunnel, vision systems, forklift, etc.) ensuring target line rates are met
• Inspect product accurately and efficiently to meet quality guidelines
• Perform equipment change-over and set-up
• Responsible for initial troubleshooting for packaging equipment issues
• Ensure that proper cGMP documentation is followed for completeness and adherence to procedures in a timely manner
• Read, understand, and comply with Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operating Procedures
• Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment
• Cross-train in other areas within the department as required to meet business needs

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent experience
• 2 to 3 years of manufacturing experience
• Detail-oriented with effective communication skills and quality conscious
• Equipment/Process troubleshooting skills
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
• Basic math and computer skills

Desired skills:

• Associate's degree
• 5+ years of related experience
• Forklift certified

Pay range: up to $21.42 per hour
