Production Operator

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate the calender machine to process materials
• Continuously monitor machine operations to ensure products are produced in accordance with customer specifications
• Perform adjustments to machine settings to set gauge and width as needed to achieve desired product characteristics
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during production in a timely manner
• Conduct routine maintenance on the machine to ensure optimal performance
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth production flow
• Keep accurate records of production output and quality checks

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Ability to read and interpret customer specifications
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards
  - Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Ability to use measuring devices including a tape measure and gauge block
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends if needed
• Physically able to stand, bend, and lift up to 80 pounds
