| Biopharmaceutical Manufacturing Technician, Athens, GA 6 months Contract
Sigma Inc is currently looking for a Biopharmaceutical Manufacturing Technician to work onsite at its clients location in Athens, GA.
Shift ScheduleM-F, 8 am - 5 pm.
Job Description- Perform any process duties associated with indirectly supporting the production of all vaccines; work within the Tank and Central Services department as a team member to ensure success in the activities associated with the safe and sterile preparation of equipment that supports vaccine manufacturing.
- Support the vaccine production schedules by following the Tank and Central Services scheduling board; perform steam in place (SIP) and clean in place (CIP) of mobile process equipment; prepare and sterilize process equipment by autoclaving; decontaminate garments, equipment, and roller bottles by autoclaving.
- Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures during process execution; assist with training and coaching of current and new employees on required skills.
- Review in‑process documentation for accuracy and compliance in a timely manner; maintain technical data and support documentation.
- Participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventative actions to address problems; escalate production flow disturbances.
- Demonstrate a visible and tangible commitment to EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) programs and initiatives.
- Assess individual performance regarding continuous improvement (AAI).
- Participate and provide support to site projects and initiatives, including deviation and change control management.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred laboratory experience and manufacturing experience.
- Working knowledge of cGMP and USDA requirements for Vaccine Manufacturing.
- Results‑oriented and ability to meet firm deadlines while working in a complex and variable environment.
- Basic math skills, equipment/process trouble‑shooting skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and other database software systems.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to problem‑solve.
