Maintenance Technician II Job Athens area,Georgia USA,Manufacturing / Production

Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for an Onsite position with a Major Pharmaceutical Company located in Athens, GA. This is a 10+ month contract opportunity.

This role plays a key part in the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment to ensure the reliability and performance of critical systems within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. The position is for the 2nd shift, from 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities:

Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on systems such as clean utilities, clean room HVAC, power plant/utilities, and HPW systems
Adhere to good maintenance practices to ensure equipment reliability and performance

Requirements:

High School Diploma with 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry OR
Associate's Degree/Technical Degree in a relevant field of study with 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry
Hands-on experience with Boilers and plant steam systems, Compressed air systems, Centrifugal chillers and cooling towers, Process chill water systems, RO/DI, HPW systems, Clean steam systems, and Generators/electrical systems
Knowledge of and adherence to EHS requirements
Intermediate level problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Proficient verbal and written communication skills

Pay Range: up to $37.50 per hour
