Position SummaryThis position is focused on building and maintaining the brand reputation of UGA's College of Veterinary Medicine as one of the top academic and research vet colleges and teaching hospitals in the nation. The Digital Media Manager assists in developing and executing media-focused efforts to achieve CVM's goal of awareness, preference and visibility while ensuring our digital media platforms convey a consistent message and position.
This position reports to the Director for Communications and Marketing for the College of Veterinary Medicine and works with the communication and marketing team to achieve marketing and communication goals.
- Proficiency with digital channels, including all social media and newsletter platforms.
- Proficiency and experience with social media content management, including content strategy, creation, scheduling, and analytics.
- Proficiency in typical office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.).
- Proficiency in collecting, organizing, measuring and analyzing user behavior and digital data.
- Experience in the technical and creative aspects of photography and videography.
- Experience in Adobe Suite Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere, Express
- Flexibility in adapting communication strategies to accommodate changing technology
- Self-starter able to work on multiple projects…
