Position Summary
The Stewardship and Donor Relations Coordinator at PSO is an important member of the Development Team. This position is responsible for stewardship of top donors through personalized stewardship touches, communications, reporting, oversight of all naming opportunities, as well as meaningful donor engagement.

- Knowledge of fundraising and database software.
- Able to maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion.
- Work in a standard office environment.
- Extremely limited travel or work on nights and weekends.
- Lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
- Walk, stand, stoop, lift, kneel, and climb.
Lead stewardship efforts for current PSO donors
- Produce and review weekly gift reports for all gifts to identify opportunities for recognition and additional stewardship. Annually, track all NDAs for PSO staff related to database access. Secure GAIL access for new PSO team members.
- Draft weekly acknowledgement letters from the Vice President for identified donors, ensuring all letters are finalized and mailed in a timely manner. Log and file all correspondence in GAIL.
- Support unit-based donor relations coordinators with quarterly outreach (regarding automated and written acknowledgements).
- Oversee and build upon all PSO stewardship efforts including: birthday cards, faculty & staff recognition, recurring gift recognition, Thanksgiving message, New Year messaging, and Outreach Magazine distribution.
- Maintain fund agreements and share with unit leadership when funds are established, amended or renamed. Create QR codes for new funds as requested and maintain listing of all funds across UGA and PSO websites.
- Draft endowed fund report text for leadership and oversee coordination with central development for annual endowed fund report distribution.
- Conduct outreach to unit budget team annually (2 times per year) regarding endowed fund spending budgets.
Engage in campus wide efforts around stewardship and engagement
- Manage PSO requests for football guests to President suite, DAR suite or other special events. Log all football related activity in GAIL.
- Lead and manage all aspects of the annual PSO Donor Appreciation Reception.
- Oversee PSO participation in Dawg Day of Gratitude, UGA Alumni Awards, Bulldog 100 and 40 Under 40.
- Coordinate the Office of the Vice President for Public Service and Outreach's participation in Blue Key, Signature Lectures, President's Club, and high-level campus events.
- Participate in "Team Stewardship:" campus wide quarterly professional development meeting.
Oversee unit-wide impact and stewardship reporting
- Manage and maintain stewardship plans in GAIL and support the development team with stewardship plan maintenance.
- Oversee deployment of comprehensive stewardship matrix to ensure donors are receiving adequate outreach and impact information.
- Share donor stories and impact stories with PSO communications teams and assist in elevating impact stories across PSO.
- Coordinate with PSO unit liaisons as needed to ensure appropriate stewardship of unit's top donors.
- Develop timely impact reports for high level donors.
Maintain PSO naming opportunities listing
- Establish and maintain list of available naming opportunities across PSO.
- Ensure ongoing stewardship for namings (such as drafting donor correspondence and sharing pictures of named spaces).
High school diploma or equivalent.
