Role OverviewThe Part‑Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) y’s Center for Wound Healing provides direct patient care in an outpatient wound care setting under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and/or physician. The LPN assists with wound assessments, treatments, and dressing changes; supports patient education related to wound care and healing; and ensures accurate documentation in the medical record. This role involves coordinating care, preparing patients for procedures, maintaining a clean and safe clinical environment, and adhering to established protocols, infection control standards, and regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate demonstrates strong clinical skills, attention to detail, compassion, and a commitment to high‑quality, patient‑centered care.
- Licensure/Certification/Registration:
Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Georgia. BLS Certification required. - Education:
Graduation from an accredited program of practical nursing. - Experience:
One year of recent emergency or critical care experience preferred (within the past five years). - Special
Qualifications:
Wound care experience preferred.
