Job Description:

- Position:
Travel ER RN

- Start Date:

ASAP
- Duration: 13 weeks

- Shift: Mids, 12:30 PM - 1:00 AM
- Requirements:

- Minimum of 2 years experience in Emergency Nursing
- At least 2 previous successful travel assignments
- Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications - ESI level 5 training required - TNCC certification preferred

- Experience with Cerner preferred
- Responsibilities:

- Provide exceptional care to Emergency Room patients
- Utilize the Nursing Process in compliance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies
- Exhibit critical thinking and scientific judgment in care delivery
- Demonstrate leadership in ensuring safe patient care in the Emergency Department
- Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education
- Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience
- Supervise and direct personnel involved in patient care
- Unit Details:

- Beds in Unit: 29 plus 8 hallways
- Patient Ratios: 1:4 - No call or floating required
- Scrub Color:
Navy - EMR System:
Cerner
- Scheduling and Availability:

- Weekend requirements apply
- Blocked scheduling is a priority but cannot be guaranteed
- Max RTO:
None as long as full-time equivalent and weekend requirements are met
- Blackout dates for RTO:
One major and one minor holiday may be required
- Scope of Role:

- Deliver comprehensive patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Direct and coordinate nursing care based on established clinical practices
