Position: Director of Nursing, Life Planned Community ($12,000 Sign-On)

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Director of Nursing (DON) at our Athens, GA campus. The Director of Nursing will oversee all nursing operations, manage healthcare staff, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations. Daily responsibilities will include oversight of staff scheduling, managing resident care, implementing infection control standards, maintaining long-term care programs, and collaborating with other departments to meet residents' healthcare needs.

The role also involves ensuring the adherence to best practices in nursing and creating a supportive, compassionate environment for both residents and staff.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Nursing Management and Long-term Care, with experience leading teams in a healthcare setting
  • Strong expertise in Infection Control practices and protocols to ensure patient and staff safety
  • Solid foundation in Medicine and Nursing, with a focus on providing high-quality care
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective care plans tailored to residents’ needs
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Nursing or a related field is preferred
  • Experience in geriatric care, senior living, or long-term care is highly desirable
