Coordinate inpatient and observation patient room assignments in collaboration with physician's offices, Emergency Department, Surgical Services, Critical Care and Medical/Surgical floors to facilitate patient flow;
Provide efficient and appropriate utilization of beds in all areas;
Support bed management to optimize patient flow and occupancy;
Assist with coordination of patient transfers and admissions as needed;
Communicate bed status and escalation needs with care teams and units
