Job Title:

Staff RN – Medical/Surgical Unit (Full time, 12‑hour day shift)

Shift: 12 hour day shift. Weekdays only, no weekends.

As the Staff Registered Nurse on a 28‑bed medical/surgical unit, you will provide direct patient care, function as Charge Nurse when assigned, and lead the unit during your shift. You will plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and maintain quality patient outcomes.

• Assess patients and develop individualized care plans within the unit’s pathway.
• Implement complex patient‑care procedures and modify care plans as needed.
• Lead the nursing team when assigned as Charge Nurse; coordinate workflow and staffing.
• Collaborate with the Care Team and Support Team to achieve patient outcomes.
• Provide therapeutic care using the nursing process, environment, and technology.

• Valid RN license in the State of Georgia.
• Graduated from an accredited nursing program or state‑equivalent.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (updated within the past 6months if practice not recent).
• Experience preferred; new graduates considered.
