- Manages the day-to-day operations of various areas of Imaging to include off-site locations of the hospital.
- Responsibilities include staffing, scheduling, monitoring staff performance, providing staff education, and implementing and directing Quality Assurance & Performance Improvement activities for the department.
- Participates in department budget preparation and management.
- Acts as a liaison between customers, technical staff, medical staff, and other departments within the hospital.
- Able to provide complex nursing care, which includes the monitoring and administering of medications required during procedures.
- Performs related record-keeping and patient care functions and serves as patient advocate.
- Ensures proper education and training to staff and patients.
- Provides supervisory skills consistent with creativity, attention to detail and consistent follow through.
- Education Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing
- Required Work Experience
- 5 years nursing experience in a hospital (inpatient roles) or clinical (outpatient roles) setting Required
- Critical care background and previous nursing supervisory experience Preferred
- RN
- Registered Nurse
- Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNCL Multistate License Upon Hire Required - BCLS
- Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required - ACLS Upon Hire Required
