Position Overview

RN / Registered Nurse / Facility Based Crisis / Night Shift (Regular)

• Utilize your skills and expertise, current nursing assessment skills and knowledge of nursing principles to assess and monitor clients.
• Participate in behavioral health and substance use disorder treatment and respond to crises on a timely basis.
• Comply with Controlled Substances policy and procedures, maintain accurate inventories and controlled logs, and follow appropriate guidelines for investigating discrepancies.
• Monitor consumers and take appropriate action for side effects and adverse reactions to medications.
• Complete QA activities as requested and participate in the QA process.
• Communicate effectively with the team.

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with a minimum of an Associates Degree in Nursing.
• Meet the education, experience, licensure/certification requirements specified by the service definition.
• Prefer one year of nursing experience.
• Experience in behavioral health nursing preferred.
• Some college training and/or management experience helpful.
• Valid driver’s license with personal vehicle insurance coverage (condition of employment if required for transportation).
• Maintain proficiency in company-sponsored training and certifications and privileging, if required.
• Complete pre-employment screening, including criminal background check, drug testing, education verification, and other credentialing as required.
