We are currently seeking a full‑time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team at GA Diagnostic and Classification State Prison located in Jackson, Georgia. The Nurse Practitioner works under the supervision of a physician in a correctional environment and is responsible for assisting in the delivery of health care and patient care management. This includes collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, performing assessments, diagnosing patients, and medication management.
Responsibilities• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver health care in a correctional setting.
• Perform patient assessments, diagnose conditions, and manage medication.
• Assist in overall patient care management under physician supervision.
- Active, unrestricted GA APRN license
- Ability to pass background check
