• Maintain and propagate various life cycle stages of Hymenolepis diminuta
• Perform rodent-handling duties
• Maintain in vitro parasite cultures
• Maintain and organize laboratory inventory (including ordering)
• Responsible for general lab maintenance duties including making common reagents, washing and sterilization of glassware, lab waste management, managing DNA sequencing, and managing deliveries to the lab
• Assist laboratory personnel by independently performing a variety of cellular and molecular biological techniques, and helping with general lab duties
• Attend lab meetings, and other meetings as required
