Responsibilities- 60% Conduct field and laboratory research on weed management, harvesting cotton, and developing computer algorithms for rover; work with industry partners to assess research needs, develop and implement novel research addressing aflatoxin risk reduction, collect and manage data.
- 25% Analyze and interpret research results and write manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals, and write proposals.
- 10% Teach labs and develop curriculum.
- 5% Supervise/coordinate hourly workers and/or graduate students.
- Development of training materials for advanced technology training for farmers, development of weeding system using lasers and mechanical weeding, and improved post-processing handling of peanuts to reduce aflatoxin contamination.
