Duties / Responsibilities- Autoclave biohazard waste, prepare microbiological media, perform PCR (75%)
- Maintain laboratory inventory and assist students in their research (25%)

Temporary Technical Paraprofessional - FLSA: Non-Exempt
- FTE: 0.50
Temporary research assistant will be tasked to do:
Autoclave biohazard waste, prepare microbiological media, perform PCR, maintain laboratory inventory and assist students in their research.
BS in Microbiology and at least 6 months experience working in a microbiology laboratory
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities And/or Competencies- Experience in general laboratory tasks
- Media preparation
- Autoclaving
Carry 30 lbs.
