Key Responsibilities- Manage and implement tissue engineering studies in the Harbor Lights Laboratory.
- Conduct research on a pre‑specified project and independent projects; publish findings.
- Mentor junior researchers, write grant proposals, and oversee publishing.
- Coordinate day‑to‑day laboratory activities and lead as a research manager.
- Ph.D. (or equivalent) in Bioengineering, Cell Biology, or a related scientific field.
- Background in biomaterials and cellular engineering.
- Knowledge of molecular genetics, biochemistry, histology, and immunology techniques to assess cell behavior on biomaterial substrates.
- Experience with grant writing and mentoring.
- Physical ability to stand/sit for long periods during laboratory work.
- No driving requirement.
