Position Summary:
The position involves soil and water sample collection and analysis. It involves working in laboratory, greenhouse and field. General laboratory and greenhouse upkeep and maintenance is also part of the job.
Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification in Position:
Some training in soil and water sciences; aseptic and molecular microbiological techniques, and soil enzyme assays.
The applicant should have some knowledge about soil and water. Laboratory skills and experience in aseptic and molecular microbiology techniques are preferred. Applicants should be willing to work outdoors and have a driving license.
Physical DemandsAble to lift up to 25 lbs; able to work in greenhouse and outdoors during the summer time.
