Duties

/ Responsibilities
  • Horticulture crop care including potting, transplanting, trellising, pest monitoring, manual pollinations, data recording, weeding, use of weed-eater and application of herbicides. Harvesting will also be required.
  • Lab work involving fruit quality analysis, data entry, and seed processing and cataloging.

Summary

The Research Assistant will help with all aspects of Dr. Ogden’s CEA breeding program. This will involve a combination of greenhouse, lab, and field work with primary location at Bledsoe Research Farm in Williamson.

Basic horticulture skills are required for this position.
