The Department of Biochemistry & Molecular Biology (BCMB) at the University of Georgia (UGA) invites applications for postdoctoral research associates in computational materials science.
Research AreasProjects emphasize both methodological development and chemically/biologically relevant applications, with access to high-performance computing resources and strong interdisciplinary collaborations.
QualificationsPh.D. in computational materials, chemistry, biology, engineering, computer science, applied mathematics, or a closely related field. Strong background in one or more of: machine learning, high-throughput materials discovery, materials science/engineering, molecular modeling, computational design of bioinspired materials, or biomaterial data analysis;
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment;
Experience with Python, C/C++, or related scientific programming languages preferred.
