Position SummaryThe post-doctoral researcher will work on a variety of projects in quantitative genetics and genomics, ranging from practical to theoretical, will develop novel methods to be applied in animal breeding and genetics, and perform analyses in fish data.
Required/PreferredEducation and Experience
Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification In Position: PhD in Animal Breeding and Genetics, bioinformatics, or related field.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities And/or CompetenciesKnowledge, Skills, Abilities: Knowledge of quantitative genetics, genomics, and statistical genetics is a plus. Proficiency in R, Unix bash scripting, and BLUPF
90 is highly desired.
