• Supervised Research – 100% time
• Field, seed processing, laboratory and greenhouse activities
• Data collection and harvesting; other miscellaneous duties
• Seed processing (shelling), data collection, organizing
• Greenhouse work (plant cultivation and crossing)
• Laboratory activities including polymerase chain reaction for marker-assisted selection
• Work as part of a team

• Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification In Position Some post-secondary education in biology or plant science is preferred.
• Knowledge, Skills, Abilities And/Or Competencies Knowledge of crops, strong work ethic, attention to detail, good record-keeping.
• Physical Demands Walking, bending, stooping, and lifting lightweight materials. Work outdoors in varying conditions.
