Position
Title: Postdoctoral Research Associate
Department: Physiology & Pharmacology, University of Georgia
Responsibilities- 100% research focus on the comorbidity of alcoholism and depression, examining the neurokinin‑1 receptor.
- Conduct behavioral pharmacology, molecular neuroscience, and neuroanatomical analysis experiments.
- Publish scientific papers and present current data at scientific meetings.
- Mentor junior graduate students and undergraduate researchers.
- Ph.D. in Neuroscience or a closely related field (by start of appointment).
Standing and sitting for prolonged periods; lifting up to 50 lb.
