• Title: Temporary Research Assistant – Joseph

• Schedule: Monday – Friday; 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
• Location: Griffin Area

• Maintain field plots and insect colonies for research; grow insecticide‑free plants in greenhouse; wash and clean insect‑rearing containers.
• Isolate pathogen samples with care to avoid contamination of laboratory or samples.
• Collect experimental response variables: insect counts, impact of entomopathogen applications, plant damage ratings, assessments of plant physiology as measures of different treatments.
• Work in laboratory, greenhouse, and field environments.
• Make frequent visits to trial plots to observe and record data on insects and production.
• Data management: entry, organization, statistical analyses, data presentation, development of technical reports; entry of ratings into spreadsheets and quality assurance.
• Assist in data entry and support faculty with related publications and printed materials.
