The UGA College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences is seeking a Research Associate to support its peanut breeding program in Athens, Georgia. This position focuses on gene identification and molecular breeding, employing advanced techniques such as CRISPR/Cas9 editing.
The successful candidate will maintain tissue cultures, develop transgenic lines, and analyze data. A Bachelor’s degree is required, and a Master’s degree is preferred. Experience in molecular biology and peanut breeding will be advantageous.
