Postdoctoral Researcher
Position title:
Postdoctoral Researcher. Department:
Franklin‑Genetics. The role is located in Athens, Georgia, within the University of Georgia’s Franklin‑Genetics laboratory.
- Conduct laboratory research (80% of time).
- Assist with stickleback fish husbandry (5% of time).
- Participate in lab meetings (5% of time).
- Mentor graduate and undergraduate students (10% of time).
- Doctoral degree or equivalent in genetics or a closely related field.
- Strong research record in the life sciences.
- Experience with molecular genetics, evolutionary genetics, or genomics is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a research team.
Employment type:
Employee (FLSA Exempt). Salary:
Commensurate with experience. Anticipated start date: 05/01/2023. Posting date: 04/26/2023. Position is open until filled.
