The Senior Research Associate at the Analytical Services and Training Laboratory will be proficient in developing advanced MS techniques (MS/MS) for glycoproteins, oligosaccharides, and peptides in collaborative and time-sensitive projects. • Developing methods for MS and MS/MS analysis of oligosaccharides, glycopeptides and peptides on both collaborative and service projects. (40%)
• Developing methods for isolation and purification of glycans from cells and tissue or from drug products from industry. (20%)
• Writing and editing manuscripts and reviews from our laboratory or collaborator laboratories. (no percentage specified)
• Performing chemical derivatization for MS analysis for glycan and polysaccharide projects. (10%)
• Training other scientists in the laboratory on structural characterization of glycoproteins and oligosaccharides. (5%)

• Minimum Qualifications: Requires at least a baccalaureate degree in the field. Please contact your Human Resources office for an evaluation of education/experience in lieu of the required minimum qualifications.
