Temporary Research Technician

Position Summary

The individual will manage research programs that determine fluxes in peanut, pecan, and other ecosystems. The individual will help plan, prepare, and monitor field data collection. The candidate will deploy instrumentation, and use computer programs to double check and process data; the individual will help prepare both technical and scientific reports and write-ups meant for numerous and various outlets.

• Monitor field data collection.
• Use computer programs to double check and process data.
• Help prepare both technical reports and technical and scientific write-ups meant for numerous and various outlets.
• Help plan details of the field experiments.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.

• Computer work and knowledge or some experience with instrumentation.

Work outdoors in heat and lift up to 50 pounds.
