Position Summary: Conduct laboratory, greenhouse and field work including making media, culturing fungi, extracting DNA, conducting PCR, planting seed, collecting data.
Duties and Responsibilities- Making media (20%)
- Culturing fungi (10%)
- Extracting DNA and conducting PCR (20%)
- Thrashing seed (20%)
- Planting seed (20%)
- Collecting field data (10%)
Education: Completed two years of high school.
Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification: Completed two years of high school.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and CompetenciesSome experience in field work and lab work.
Physical DemandsWork outdoors in heat and lift up to 25 pounds.
