Data collection assistant

Position Summary

Two data collection assistants are needed to collect survey data from Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park (KEMO) visitors between January 2024 and December 2024. Work requires 8–16 hours per month, with no more than 4 hours per shift. Days are flexible and will be scheduled in consultation with Dr. Kyle Woosnam.

• On‑site survey data collection at KEMO, intercepting visitors to administer a 10–12 minute paper questionnaire.
• Secure completed questionnaires for later collection by Dr. Kyle Woosnam or his research assistants.

• Experience volunteering at KEMO or assisting with park visitation, planning, or management matters.
• Residency in or near Kennesaw, Georgia.

Outdoor work with exposure to weather conditions. Tents and UGA apparel will be provided for warm and cold temperatures.

• No driving required.
• Not a position of trust.
• No control or access to financial resources.
• No P‑Card held.
• No direct interaction with children under 18 or patient care.
• No security access to sensitive records or hazardous materials.
