Position SummaryThis part-time position is needed to assist with vegetable curation. This position will assist with harvesting fruit from various vegetable crops in the field and greenhouse; extracting seed from the harvested fruit; cleaning and packaging of seed, and miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Responsibilities- Harvest fruit from various vegetable crops.
- Extract seed from the harvested fruit.
- Treat, clean, count, and package seed.
Relevant/
Preferred Education:
High School Graduate or Equivalent.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or
Competencies:
Prefer experience working with plants or in agriculture.
Work under hot conditions in the field and greenhouse. Lift 50 pounds. Work involves cleaning pepper seed – some of which are very pungent.
