Post Doctoral Research Associate
Position Summary:
This postdoctoral researcher position supports multiple externally funded research projects focused on cancer immunotherapy and translational oncology. The incumbent will play a leading role in the design, execution, and interpretation of preclinical studies evaluating novel immunotherapeutic and nanomedicine-based approaches for cancer treatment. Responsibilities include designing and conducting complex in vivo and in vitro experiments, performing therapeutic efficacy studies, immune profiling, sequencing‑based analyses, and mechanistic investigations.
The role is critical for maintaining project timelines, generating data required for sponsored research objectives, and disseminating findings through peer‑reviewed publications and conference presentations. The researcher will also provide scientific leadership within the laboratory by mentoring graduate and undergraduate students, assisting with experimental design and troubleshooting, and contributing to the preparation of manuscripts and research reports.
- Lead and conduct research projects in cancer immunotherapy and nanomedicine, including experimental design, execution, troubleshooting, and interpretation of results.
- Perform and oversee in vivo and in vitro studies, including animal studies, therapeutic efficacy evaluations, immune profiling, molecular biology assays, and mechanistic investigations.
- Analyze and interpret experimental and sequencing datasets; prepare figures, reports, and presentations.
- Prepare manuscripts, grant‑related documents, and other scholarly publications arising from funded research projects.
- Train and mentor graduate and undergraduate students in research techniques, experimental design, and data analysis.
- Ph.D. required.
- Advanced expertise in tumor immunology, animal models of cancer, molecular and cellular biology, and high‑dimensional data analysis.
- Experience with in vivo and in vitro experiments, therapeutic efficacy studies, immune profiling, sequencing‑based analyses, and data interpretation.
- Strong written and oral communication skills; ability to publish in peer‑reviewed journals and present at scientific conferences.
- Capacity to mentor undergraduate and graduate students.
