Engineering Technician

Summary

This position is located within the Agricultural Research Service, Southeast Area, Athens, GA. In this position, you will be involved in almost all phases of the scientist's study and have responsibility for selected phases or conduct test applications of scientific and technical theories when the methods, techniques, and procedures are clearly outlined.

• Provides input into the initial planning of experiments.
• Locates, organizes, and adapts information from published literature for use as guidelines for new procedures.
• Searches for literature pertinent to area of research for new procedures or techniques.
• Uses of electronic and microprocessor-based devices and equipment, and with computerized data storage and manipulation.
