Duties/Responsibilities

Investigate the interaction of foodborne pathogenic microbes with carbohydrates using various assays.

Perform literature reviews, write summaries, reports, and protocols as needed for experiments.

Minimum Qualifications Position Summary

Ordering, maintaining chemical/reagent inventory, equipment maintenance, follow-up with companies and equipment repairs. Maintain cell culture for various cell lines, make cell culture plates and buffers for various projects, and perform limited experiments.

Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification in Position Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies

Experience working in BSL2 and cell culture.
