Minimum Qualifications

Requires at least a high school diploma or equivalent. Please contact your Human Resources office for an evaluation of education/experience in lieu of the required minimum qualifications.

Position Summary

This is a benefits eligible, partial year position 9-11 months of each year. The selected candidate will be expected to sign a partial year agreement. Employees returning to work from designated partial-year leave periods are continued in the same position with no break in service and no change in the original hire date. This is manual and semi-skilled work involving a variety of food service duties in dining hall or cash operations kitchens.

Work involves responsibility for serving foods, cleaning facilities, and in preparing serving line meals.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities And/or Competencies

Knowledge of the methods and practices of safe food handling in a team environment. Knowledge of the methods of practice of food preparation.
