Description:

We are seeking a dependable, customer-focused Part-Time Thrift Store or Gift Shop Associate with previous experience in a non-profit, merchandising, charitable organization, or volunteer-driven environment.

About the Role

This position supports the daily operations of our thrift store and plays a key role in helping us further our mission in the community.

Key Responsibilities

* Greet and assist customers, providing a positive, welcoming shopping experience

* Receive, sort, and organize donated items

* Maintain clean, organized, and visually appealing merchandise displays

* Support volunteers working on the sales floor or in the back room

* Operate the cash register and process sales accurately (if applicable)

* Assist with general store upkeep and daily operational tasks

* Uphold the organization's mission and represent our values in all interactions

* Previous experience in a non-profit, thrift store, or volunteer environment preferred

* Strong customer service skills and a friendly, professional attitude

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Comfort working in a fast-paced, ever-changing retail environment

* Flexible availability, including some weekends or peak donation periods
