Preferred Qualifications- Familiarity with UGA/USG financial management & payroll systems
- Experience with grant financials
This full-time Staff position will join the College of Engineering’s Business Office as a Grant Accountant. The role supports the organization’s mission by linking core business functions to the organization’s grant‑funded projects. Responsibilities include reviewing, interpreting, and reconciling grant expenses and expenditures, reviewing submitted grant proposals, interpreting budgets, gathering data, and partnering with stakeholders to ensure timely support on grant‑related projects.
The position also guides faculty and PIs on grant‑related financial inquiries and works with the UGA Grants team to maintain compliance.
- Knowledge/experience with payroll
- Knowledge/experience with accounting
- Familiarity with UGA/USG financial management & payroll systems
- Knowledge of project status reporting
- Experience with grant financials
