Position Summary
What you’ll do:
Provide member service, maintain checkout area, resolve member issues and concerns, promote Sam’s Club products and services, offer guidance and support regarding self‑service technology, process member purchases, assist with payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges according to company policies and procedures for various membership and payment types, and follow company safety standards, procedures and guidelines, including conducting safety sweeps.
- Follow proper procedures for handling merchandise; correct and report unsafe situations to facility management.
- Maintain entrance areas: acknowledge members, verify membership cards, identify member needs, assist members with purchasing decisions, locate merchandise, promote company products and services, zone the area, arrange and organize merchandise, assist members with transporting items, and maintain a safe shopping environment.
- Maintain exit areas: review member receipts, acknowledge members, identify member needs, aid in securing and safeguarding Sam’s Club assets by observing potential criminal activity, maintain paperwork, logs and other required documentation, execute emergency response procedures, and ensure compliance with security and safety practices.
- Assist with training of Member Frontline Services associates on company processes and procedures, teach new technology and tool functionality, deliver new program roll‑out training, and provide continuous learning and process improvement opportunities.
- Ensure area of responsibility complies with company policies and procedures by properly handling returns, zoning, arranging and organizing merchandise, and identifying shrink and damage.

The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $25.00. The actual hourly rate equals or exceeds the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
Additional compensation may include premiums ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour for specific circumstances such as schedule, facility, season or specific work performed.
