To assist in the proper maintenance of the store, particularly in the Produce Department, and assist customers on the store floor as needed. The Utilities Clerk will properly bag groceries for customers when needed, carry out groceries if requested, and maintain store cleanliness and safety at all times. Responsibilities also include retrieving store carts, running price checks, assisting with go‑backs, maintaining check stand upkeep, and removing waste from the parking area.

• Read and write Spanish and English, interact with general public and co‑workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 45 pounds, and occasionally up to 60 pounds.

• Basic PC/Outlook skills
• Retail Management Certificate
