Position SummaryReporting to the Sales and Service Manager, the Hard Goods Associate engages customers in the Hard Goods areas—including Simulators, Putting Green, Club Repair, and Accessories—to drive sales and enhance the customer experience. The role involves front‑end operations such as returns, exchanges, promotions, and maintaining a premium stock and visual presentation. The Associate demonstrates product knowledge, assists with club fitting, and ensures a clean, operational environment.

- Engage with every customer and offer world‑class service by using PGA TOUR Superstore service behaviors.
- Build lasting relationships that keep customers coming back.
- Seek out and engage customers throughout the Hard Goods areas.
- Maintain knowledge of all front‑end operations (returns, exchanges, gift cards, lesson redemptions, loyalty programs, discounts, promotions, coupons, etc.) and assist when needed.
- Ensure Hard Goods areas and merchandise remain at a premiere stock and visual level to drive sales and enhance the customer experience.
- Keep equipment, supplies, and the area clean and professionally presented at all times.
- Demonstrate in‑depth knowledge of golf clubs, explaining features, benefits, and differences to customers.
- Execute proper customer fittings following PGA TOUR Superstore trained fitting techniques.
- Maintain a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance across all departments.
- Assist customers with club fitting, including choosing the right shaft, grip, and specifications for optimal performance.
- Stay up‑to‑date on merchandising promotions and marketing events to maintain a strong presence throughout the promotion cycle.
- Advocate products and services, educating and promoting offerings to customers.
- Provide consistent feedback to the Sales and Service Manager on operational and merchandising opportunities.
- Strong listening and interpersonal skills, with clear verbal and written communication.
- Basic computer skills and working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to organize multiple priorities to meet deadlines and objectives.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Retail sales, customer service, or similar experience preferred.
Must be able to stand for extended periods, climb up and down a ladder, move throughout the store, and lift a 30‑lb box overhead.
ScheduleRequires flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Business AcumenAbility to quickly learn business concepts with appropriate training.
AccountabilityDemonstrates strong self‑accountability and a proactive drive for results.
