Job Summary
The Product Operations Lead is a part of the store leadership team responsible for executing on the store product strategy, including product operations and inventory management. They lead inventory shifts, oversee all back‑of‑house product operations, ensure both the floor and BOH are stocked and well‑organized, provide input to team evaluation, support hiring decisions, and act as Supervisor on Duty. The Lead also delivers a world‑class customer experience on the floor when scheduled.
Core Responsibilities of the Job
- Collaborate with store leadership to bring product strategy to life.
- Proactively plan, prioritize, manage, and lead inventory processing and accuracy activities in accordance with SOPs.
- Ensure execution of product actions (pull backs, consolidations, repricing).
- Engage team members in inventory management by creating a productive atmosphere for the shift.
- Monitor product levels and communicate findings to support sell‑through strategy and optimal product availability.
- Review and interpret daily business data and metrics to inform actions, including analyzing sell‑through data to recommend product focus or pricing.
- Participate in the store’s hiring process – recruitment, selection, onboarding, and training.
- Address team member performance and support ongoing learning with feedback, coaching, and recognition.
- Contribute to a respectful and inclusive team environment.
- When acting as Supervisor on Duty, lead from the floor to ensure every guest receives technical product education and a world‑class experience.
Job Requirements
- Legally authorized to work in the country where the store is located.
- Ability to travel to the assigned store with reliable transportation.
Schedule/Availability
- Work schedule varies with store needs.
- Shifts include mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Peak periods or special events may require early mornings or late nights/overnights.
Experience
- Minimum 1 year of work experience.
- Some experience with inventory management, product/visual merchandising, stocking, or logistics, and use of business technology.
- Experience in leading, mentoring, delegating, or implementing processes with others.
Job Assets (Nice to Have)
- High school diploma/GED or higher.
- Retail, sales, distribution center, or warehouse operations experience, and ability to interpret business reports.
- Food safety or liquor service certification for experiential stores with food/beverage service.

Work Context
- Work involves moving through the store, front and back areas, sometimes under bright lights and loud music, sometimes in low‑light conditions.

- May involve moving boxes up to 30 lbs or using ladders to reach materials.
- For experiential stores with food/beverage service, may involve industrial kitchen equipment and heat exposure.
