Vaccines Specialist, Health and Science Professional - Athens, GA
We are pursuing breakthroughs that change patients’ lives. As a Vaccines Health and Science Professional (HSP), you will promote Pfizer’s vaccines portfolio across customers and channels, engaging in both live field and virtual customer interactions.
Role Responsibilities- Drive sales in the assigned territory to maximize approved business objectives.
- Engage customers both face‑to‑face and virtually.
- Develop and implement effective business and territory call plans, identify and execute live/virtual engagement strategies, and build rapport and relationships with customers.
- Leverage internal reports and analytics to identify, develop, and implement strategic business opportunities.
- Use product and disease‑state knowledge to provide clinically oriented information and patient resources.
- Demonstrate market knowledge, uncover barriers and drivers across all relevant business channels.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional colleagues—including Field Medical and Account Management—to address customer inquiries and advance Pfizer objectives.
- Complete all administrative expectations on time, such as entering customer calls, submitting expenses, and responding to requests from sales leadership and internal partners.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in professional sales or promotional activity, or an associate’s degree with 6+ years of experience, or a high school diploma with 8+ years of relevant experience in sales, marketing, customer service, account management, entrepreneurship, or full‑time military experience.
- Must live within 25 miles of the territory border and possess a valid U.S. driver’s license.
- No DUI/DWI or impaired‑driving citation within the past 7 years.
- At least 1 year of pharmaceutical, biotech, medical‑sales, or medical‑related marketing experience.
- Strong track record of sales or marketing success, territory management skills, outstanding communication, teamwork, leadership, and accountability.
- Experience with the vaccines therapeutic area and products.
- Knowledge of the territory’s customers and markets (prescribers, HCPs, institutions).
- Residence within the territory boundaries.
- Last Date to Apply:
June 16, 2026. - Annual base salary range: $76,000 – $199,600.
- During initial new‑hire sales training, the employee is classified as a salary non‑exempt employee, eligible for overtime pay. Upon training certification, the position becomes overtime exempt.
- Additional quarterly sales incentive bonus.
- Benefits include a 401(k) plan with company matching, retirement savings contribution, paid vacation, holiday, personal days, caregiver/parental leave, medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage.
Relocation assistance may be available based on business needs and eligibility.
