Job Overview
Mobile Associates (MA) work as a member of a Retail Team of Experts to bring the T‑Mobile brand to life. They are brand ambassadors who create energy and excitement around our products and services. They thrive in a fast‑paced, constantly evolving environment, building significant connections with customers and demonstrating device and service solutions. This learning role prepares associates for promotion to Mobile Expert.
Responsibilities- Build proficiency in serving and selling to customers while providing a world‑class experience and building loyalty by:
- Helping customers resume where they left off in their shopping journey, whether online, through Customer Care, or in‑store
- Exploring individual needs and providing hands‑on demonstrations of the latest technology
- Side‑by‑side selling to find personalized solutions beyond basic device and service plans
- Approaching service and sales needs with composure, integrity, and compassion
- Become skilled with and consistently use digital tools in interactions and onboarding to actively demonstrate:
- Coverage strengths in customers’ neighborhoods
- How T‑Mobile plans and services enable unlimited usage and connectivity
- Completion of training on the in‑store experience, new skills, processes, and system knowledge
- Efficient use of shift time, actively seeking information about new innovations
- Establish relationships and partner with T‑Mobile employees across channels to:
- Own the customer experience and resolve issues, creating a seamless environment
- Identify and hand off small business leads
- Support team initiatives and foster an inclusive environment
- Education:
High School Diploma or GED (required) - Work Experience:
6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, retail environment preferred (required) - Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Passionate customer advocate who enjoys connecting with customers, competitive drive to succeed in a fast‑paced sales environment, willingness to collaborate with peers and store leaders, and the ability to balance customer needs with performance goals (required) - Licenses and

Hourly Base Pay: $18.00, plus $5.00 training pay per hour. Within the first 90 days a Mobile Associate receives on‑the‑job training and is eligible for hourly training pay. After training completion, promotion to Mobile Expert is possible with an annualized incentive target of $18,000 per year. All employees are guaranteed $20.00 per hour inclusive of base pay and incentives.
