Senior Account Executive – USAF

The account executive focuses on acquiring new accounts and generating new business in existing ones. The sales territory is concentrated on the U.S. Air Force, and your preferred geographic location is the Washington, D.C. metro area, though other markets are acceptable.

As an account executive, you possess unique professional skills in opportunity management and solution selling. You take complete ownership of assessing customer business problems and driving them towards investment via successful contract execution. Previous experience with complex sales to the U.S. Air Force or other DoD agencies and expert knowledge of the U.S. Air Force acquisition community is considered an advantage.
You have the drive and patience of a hunter, and you can lead and empower a large matrix team of sales support roles that are hired to execute your sales strategies and tactics.

The U.S. defense industry is being revolutionized by social, mobile, cloud, and analytics technologies. Salesforce for DoW assists its customers and supporting system integrators to establish more robust connections and access information faster and at a reduced total cost of ownership.
Salesforce offers a variety of benefits to help you live well including time off programs, medical, dental, vision, mental health support, paid parental leave, life and disability insurance, 401(k), and an employee stock purchasing program. Compensation is determined by factors such as location, job level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The typical base salary range for this position is $141,550 - $189,350 annually.
In California, New York, and select cities in Boston, Chicago, Seattle, and Washington DC, the base pay range is $155,700 - $208,300 per year.
