Using data-driven insights, the team identifies patients who may be eligible for hospice and equips care teams to have compassionate, informed conversations. The ultimate goal is to empower patients to make meaningful end-of-life decisions, ensuring comfort, dignity, and personalized support when it matters most.
The Area Director of Business Development is a full-time, on-site role based in Georgia, United States. This role is responsible for driving growth by building and maintaining strategic relationships with primary and family care practices, health systems, and community partners. Daily responsibilities include identifying new business opportunities, conducting outreach and meetings with physician groups, and presenting Anderson Family Care’s services and value proposition.
The Area Director will develop and execute regional business development plans, monitor performance metrics, and collaborate with clinical and operational teams to ensure aligned messaging and seamless onboarding of new partners. The role also includes educating providers on hospice eligibility and benefits, attending industry events, and maintaining detailed records of activities within CRM tools to support data-driven decision-making.
- Demonstrated skills in business development, account management, and relationship-building with healthcare providers or related stakeholders.
- Experience in strategic planning, market analysis, and growth initiatives within healthcare services, hospice, or palliative care is strongly preferred.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to explain complex clinical and value-based care concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
- Proficiency with CRM systems, reporting tools, and basic data analysis to track performance and inform outreach strategies.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including clinical, operations, and technology partners, while working independently in the field.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding business development or sales targets in a mission-driven or healthcare environment.
- Understanding of hospice and palliative care principles, and a commitment to compassionate, ethical, and patient-centered care.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Willingness to travel within Georgia for on-site meetings, practice visits, and community events; valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
