Temporary Turfgrass Assistant – FRS
Position SummaryThis position is needed to provide assistance with the maintenance of Turfgrass Research Field on the UGA Griffin Campus.
Responsibilities- Mowing grass – 90% of time
- Weed eating/edging – 5% of time
- Irrigation repairs – 5% of time
- High School Graduate
- Ability to work independently
Light lifting (20 lbs), exposure to sunlight and heat while working outdoors.
Position ClassificationTemporary Technical Paraprofessional, Non-Exempt, Full-Time Equivalent 1.00, Employee, Monday-Friday 8-5 pm.
LocationGriffin Area, Griffin Campus of the University of Georgia.
Compensation$11.50 - $12.75 per hour.
