Position Summary
The main responsibilities will include trapping wildlife, maintaining bait stations, and sampling wild pigs after helicopter removal operations. Other duties may involve data management in Excel and maintaining field equipment. Winter work will consist of conducting camera surveys and photo processing.
Responsibilities- In the field baiting for captures, maintaining traps, and monitoring bait sites via trail cameras. (75% of time)
- Organizing photos and biological sample data for later use and analysis. (25% of time)
Work duties will include lifting objects up to 50lbs or more and will require long days outside in all weather conditions.
